Your Aitta accomodation
Stunning nature with a cosy rustic accommodation in Aitta (room with toilet/shower and small kitchenette) on the island of Salosaari on Saimaa / Ruokolahti. You will find plenty of nature and peace on our estate, but if you wish, you can drive to the town of Imatra with all its shops, restaurants and sights in 20 minutes. Just 40 minutes away is Lappeenranta, which has even more to offer as an international university city. The nearest supermarket and everything you need for everyday life is a ten-minute drive away in our lovely little community of Ruokolahti.
Salosaari is connected to the mainland by two bridges.
The Aitta is located approx. 150 metres from the beach and is ideal for one to two people. Please only non-smokers (in the building and on the property) and no pets. You can book the Aitta for as little as one night - for the entire season. (Available from summer 2025)

Private WC and shower, fluffy towels, comfortable double bed (2m x 1.4m) including bedding, 2 chairs with table, underfloor heating, biodegradable soaps and shampoo

Landing place for canoe and kayak or boat, shared use of pier, washing machine and dryer, 100% green electricity, waste separation, rowing boat (if available), 2 garden chairs with table in the covered outdoor area. Optional: breakfast
