Experience the "Finland feeling" in our beautiful and fully equipped cottage on the island of Salosaari / Ruokolahti. And the best thing: in the summer of 2023 we hardly had any mosquitoes. You can either relax on the shores of lake Saimaa, have a barbecue in our barbecue hut, enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi, or discover the region by ebike, boat, or car. There is plenty of nature and peacefulness on our property - but if you want, you can reach Imatra with all its shops, restaurants, and cultural activities within 20 minutes. Only 40 minutes away is Lappeenranta which has even more to offer with its vibrant city life. The next supermarket and all necessities for daily life you will find within a ten minute drive in our nice little community of Ruokolahti. Salosaari is connected to the mainland with two bridges.
