Enjoy the unique combination of overwhelming nature and the comfortably furnished Mökki (holiday cottage) on the island of Salosaari at lake Saimaa / Ruokolahti.
You will find plenty of nature and tranquillity on our estate, but if you wish, you can drive to the town of Imatra with all its shops, restaurants and sights in 20 minutes. Just 40 minutes away is Lappeenranta, which has even more to offer as an international university city. The nearest supermarket and everything you need for everyday life is a ten-minute drive away in our lovely little community of Ruokolahti.
Salosaari is connected to the mainland by two bridges.
Your cottage with your own beach only 10 m away hosts one to four people - only non-smokers (in buildings and property) and no pets. The minimum of bookable nights is three, in the high season one week.

in our beautiful and fully equipped holiday cottage on the island of Salosaari. And the best part: You can either relax directly on the shores of Lake Saimaa on comfortable loungers, prepare a delicious meal in our barbecue hut, heat up and enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi, or explore the area by e-bike, kayak, SUP, rowing boat, or car.
